No. Don't assume all of your accounts would be added together and insured up to a combined total of $250,000. Or that the grand total deposited in multiple financial institutions are insured to no more than $250,000. Your accounts at different NCUA-insured credit unions are separately insured, not added together. You may qualify for more than $250,000 in coverage for deposit accounts you own at each insured credit union.
