Since new ATMs are added daily to our surcharge-free networks, financial institutions must update their databases so they will not charge members that use Tower debit cards. However, some ATMs may not be updated daily, so there could be a delay in recognizing a card that should be surcharge-free. When this occurs, a member will have a choice to accept the ATM fees before completing the transaction.
