You'll need the same information that's required when opening an individual account—but you'll need it for both applicants.

You must:

• Be 18 years of age or older.
• Be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Resident Alien.
• Have a valid Social Security number.
• Have a valid driver's license, State ID, Military ID or Passport.
• Provide personal information, including your date of birth, current and previous address(es), and other information required to open the account.
